The U.S.S. Missouri
After finishing our visit to the sunken Arizona, we went on to tour the Battleship Missouri. The only place you can get a true understanding of the power of the warship is below the main guns. Each battery can hurl a 16 inch, 2300 pound shell, 23 miles distance and penetrate 30 feet of re-enforced concrete.

I would take all the numbers presented in this blog with a grain of salt as a nice delicate garnish.
Well, maybe they aren't all exactly right, but if someone is using this as a refernce on their term paper, they are crazy anyway. Just ignore the loosely qouted numbers and enjoy the pictures!
